Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were recently chastised for releasing a “narcissistic woe is me” tearjerker.
This claim was made by Sky News Australia’s digital editor, Jack Houghton, in response to the Netflix docuseries trailer.
He describes the documentary as a “woe-is-me tearjerker about becoming a multi-millionaire literal princess,” but he finds it “excruciatingly and narcissistically unhinged as you would expect.”
Before concluding, he added, “This is the couple that complains about being in the media spotlight all the time while accepting millions of dollars to put themselves back in the media spotlight.”
“Across six episodes, the series explores the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution,” the couple has promised.
