Arctic Monkeys have released a new album today (October 21).
The Car, the English rock group’s eighth studio album, has just been released. Since their inception in 2002, the group has produced huge songs like I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor and When The Sun Goes Down.
On a tour in support of the new album, the band will stop at stadiums in Europe and North America.
In a recent interview on Apple Music 1, the band’s lead vocalist Alex Turner explained to Zane Lowe the significance of the title of their most recent album: Several tracks on this album contain the words “The Car,” he said. It may have occurred three or four times, in my opinion.
“I was like, ‘I’m either going to have to change some of these or double down and call it a day.”
The band’s frontman is also the primary songwriter, and they’ve returned four years after their last album was released.

Currently, French singer-songwriter Louis Verneuil and Alex Turner are dating.
The couple first appeared in public in 2018 during Turner’s band’s tour in support of their album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
Turner decided to return home with Louise in 2020 after six years in the UK in order to be closer to France. This was followed by Turner’s departure from Los Angeles.
The couple is still together, according to The Guardian, and Turner and the 33-year-old French national split their time between London and Paris.
Turner was previously linked to a number of other accomplished women, including British model Alexa Chung, American actress Arielle Vandenberg, and US model Taylor Bagley.
