Part of a Restaurant at Do Darya collapses in Karachi

(Infosette News) On Monday, a section of a “abandoned” restaurant collapsed and fell into the sea at Karamous spot Do Daryaachi’s famous Do Darya after torrential rains pounded the area.

The official statement came after social media videos showed the deck near the sea collapsing, with people attempting to rescue those who had fallen.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Asad Raza, the eatery had been “abandoned” for the previous 12 years.

Cops arrived on the scene shortly after learning about the incident via the 15 helplines.
