PTI Leader Bilal Ghaffar was attacked during the Malir By-Elections

(Infosette News) KARACHI: During the by-elections, unidentified persons allegedly assaulted Bilal Ghaffar, the president of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chapter in Karachi, physically.

According to reports, unidentified thugs attacked PTI leader Bilal Ghaffar in the Bakra Piri neighbourhood as he was touring several polling places in Malir NA-237.

 

Bilal Ghaffar, PTI Leader, Pakistan Tehreek-e-InsafFirst assistance will be provided to the PTI leader at a nearby hospital.

As for the attack on Bilal Ghaffar, Imran Ismail, a former governor of Sindh and current leader of the PTI, has blamed Pakistan People’s Party miscreants.

Bilal Ghaffar said that the Sindh government plans to rig the Malir by-election in a statement he made earlier in the day. He also denounced the apparent intention to do so.

The Pakistan People’s Party government should refrain from making the election contentious, he said, and the voters should remain outside the polling places to secure their votes.

He claimed that these by-elections are an important component of the actual freedom movement.

The leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) claimed that the Sindh government is planning to rig the election by causing chaos and that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should take notice of this claim.
