Owners of Oculus Quest 2 VR headsets may now access Meta’s virtual reality, Horizon World, starting today.
People may download the Oculus Rift for free and join users from the United States and Canada in the metaverse. Horizon World is getting its first big expansion since its inception. Players may interact with communities, meet friends, travel to far-flung locations, and even construct their own virtual reality area on the site.
In addition, Meta is distributing its V41 upgrade to all Quest 2 players, which seeks to improve multiplayer experiences by allowing friends to gather in a virtual home setting. The participants will be able to go via various applications and video experiences as a group. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, demonstrated the functionality while watching the 360-degree film ‘The Soloist VR’ with Alex Hannold. One of Quest 2’s biggest features has been hailed as the VR multiplayer.
