The public who wish to “not stay informed” of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s every action will find “no safe harbor,” according to experts.
Filmmaker and journalist Ahmed Twaij made this charge in an opinion piece for Al Jazeera.
The author began by noting, “For the last few months, even years now, the couple’s lives have been splattered across front-page publications and mainstream news.”
While Markle has enjoyed success as an actress in the US, Harry’s main—and, quite frankly, only—claim to fame is a family connection he acquired via birth.
“News that matters shouldn’t be hijacked by worthless tabloid gossip in the middle of a growing cost-of-living crisis, gigantic worldwide inflation rates, and a terrible climate catastrophe.”
The author also noted, “There has been no way to escape it, before coming to a conclusion.
There has been no escaping Harry, Meghan, and other British royals, whether it be on news websites, Instagram or Twitter feeds, Netflix or Spotify top 10 lists, or now even on the shelves of bookstores, my normal safe refuge (or ex-royals).
