Snap releases a Web version of the Snapchat app

Snap has Announced ‘Snapchat for Web,’ which allows users to access messaging and calling features through a Web browser.

Open your laptop, launch Chrome, and go to to initiate a call or continue a chat that was started on a mobile device. With an average of more than 100 million Snapchatters using voice and video calling each month, we’re thrilled to provide a new opportunity for our community to continue discussions on their desktops, where they are already working, studying, and Surfing.

With further capabilities, including Lenses, about to be released, the web app already has chat tools like Chat Reactions and Chat Reply.

In the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, Snapchat+ subscribers can now access Snapchat on the web. All users will receive it “soon.”
