According to Fawad Chauhdry, individuals driving unregistered cars arrived at Banigala chowk and “kidnapped” Shahbaz Gill.
The Islamabad Police reported on Tuesday that Shahbaz Gill, a senior PTI official and Imran Khan’s chief of staff, had been arrested for inciting enmity against the government.
According to the police, Gill has a case pending at the Banigala Police station.
Shahbaz Gill was detained, according to the police, “for making remarks against the state institutions and inciting animosity among its employees.”
The FIR also included sections relating to inciting people against state institutions and their leaders.
It is important to note that the PTI politician tried to stir animosity in the Pakistan Army the day before when speaking on ARY News.
Gill had threatened top bureaucrats and used derogatory language toward the media. The PTI leader had a history of making crude statements about his political rivals and engaging in personal attacks.
This is not an arrest, this is a kidnapping.
Imran Khan, the head of the PTI, has referred to Gill’s arrest as an “abduction.”
This is an abduction not an arrest. Can such shameful acts take place in any democracy? Political workers treated as enemies. And all to make us accept a foreign backed government of crooks. pic.twitter.com/3NYS1BCjtf

Imran Khan shared the driver for Gill’s video statement in which the PTI politician claimed to have been tortured and pulled from the car.
This is not an arrest; this is an abduction. Can such despicable actions occur in any democracy? political employees are viewed as adversaries. And it’s all to persuade us to tolerate a corrupt government that receives support from abroad.
PTI sought Gill’s immediate release after posting footage of his car with broken glasses.

Earlier, Murad Saeed, a former federal minister, claimed that Shahbaz Gill had been detained today. He tweeted, “The imported government is in panic.”
In the meantime, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that Shahbaz Gill was “kidnapped” by guys who arrived from Banigala chowk in cars without licence plates.
Murad Saeed claimed on his Twitter account that the coalition government sent the PTI leadership a crystal-clear message. He declared that “Imran Khan is the red line,” cautioning the government against detaining the PTI leader.
Fawad Chaudhry also criticize this illegal arrest in their tweet.

Without going into any detail, the former minister claimed that a catastrophic plot was made yesterday night, after May 20.
Murad Saeed criticised the current administration, claiming that each action they take exposes them more and more. He said, “People have rejected you.
Shahbaz Gill was detained by the Punjab police on July 17 in Muzaffargarh for reportedly going to several polling places during the city’s by-elections with security guards who were posing as FC employees.
However, Gill refuted claims that he kept security guards dressed as FC officials and asserted that he had been working for three hours before being unexpectedly detained without a warrant.
Later, a district magistrate gave the order for his release.
