In a recent interview, Chloe Grace Moretz discusses the passing of her father.

Chloe Grace Moretz is talking about how her father passed away.

Not because of COVID-related problems, but because a lot changed in a fairly transformative amount of time, Chlo added.

The 25-year-old actress says she “lost my father during the pandemic” in a recent interview with Hunger magazine.

I had to travel to London after that to begin filming The Peripheral. And I believe that starting to work again was timed perfectly in many ways.

The actress said, “This lovely full-circle moment when, by the time we got there, it was at the very end of production and there was this magnificent release.”

The moment that release occurred, she added, “it was just extremely profound” because of the stormy nature of her connection with her father.

“To say that the last two years have changed everything would be an understatement. I’ve grown up to be a totally different girl. Now I feel like a woman.”

In a 2016 interview with Glamour, Chlo talked about her father abandoning her family when she was 12 years old, calling it “a really awful event.”

It could have upset our family and messed us up, but instead, it tightened us up a lot, she added. My brothers “bumped up into the positions of fathers and kept me in a bubble where I could live in a world that wasn’t jaded and wrecked.”
