Another Twenty20 history record has been set by Pakistan. Pakistan’s highest T20 international score chase against England in 2nd T20 International played yesterday.
(Infosette) KARACHI: On Thursday, the Pakistan cricket team made history by becoming the first team in Twenty20 Internationals to successfully chase a target of 200 or more without losing a wicket.
In the second Twenty20 International against England, Pakistan’s opener Babar Azam made a century and Rizwan blasted an unbeaten 88 to assist the team reach the 200-run goal without losing a wicket.
Additionally, this is the highest successful run chase in T20Is by any side without losing a single wicket.
It’s interesting to note that Pakistan also participated in the previous T20I record-holder for the highest successful chase, which was set in 2016 at Hamilton when New Zealand chased 169 without losing a single wicket.
Only three times has a target over 150 been chased in T20Is without losing a wicket.

It’s also important to note that Pakistan is the only side to have successfully chased down a target of 150 or more on two separate occasions without losing a single wicket.
In the T20 World Cup encounter in Dubai last year, the Pakistani squad needed to chase down India for 152 runs.
