Milk Price in Karachi

(Infosette News) KARACHI: The Karachi Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association has announced a 20-rupee per-liter hike in milk price in Karachi beginning on February 11.

A spokeswoman for the Dairy Farmers Association claims that the increase in the cost of fuel-based feed has forced them to raise milk prices.

In the metropolis, milk is currently being sold for Rs190, even though the official pricing is Rs180.

The cost of milk will climb to Rs210 per liter following the increase.

Commissioner Karachi has issued an order to carry out operations and close dairy stores selling milk at excessive costs.
