Leonardo DiCaprio and Camilla Morrone discussed their ‘huge age gap’ during their relationship.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Camilla Morrone have called it quits after four years of dating.
The couple, who secretly dated for the first two years of their relationship, made their Oscars debut in 2020.
The couple met for the first time in January 2018 on a trip to Aspen, Colorado.
Morrone, 25, previously discussed her age disparity with the Titanic star, 47, in 2019.
According to the model, she told the Los Angeles Times: “There are so many partnerships in Hollywood — and throughout history — when people have significant age disparities. I simply believe that anyone should be able to date whomever they want.”
She also stated that it was “”I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you’re dating,” she says, despite being largely known for her relationship to DiCaprio: “I feel like there should always be an identity outside who you’re dating.” I understand the association, but I’m optimistic it will fade and become less of a topic of discussion.”
Camila frequently replied to criticism on social media.
She protested after reading unpleasant remarks that appeared to compare her and Leonardo’s relationship to that of Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart, “my God, people are so mean and full of anger with individuals they know nothing about.”
“I guess I simply hope on this Friday that people learn to live with a bit less hostility and focus their time and energies elsewhere,” Al Pacino’s stepdaughter added.
“Because it feels really good to live without hatred.”
