The fourth monsoon spell, which has been pelting parts of Karachi over the past few days, is expected to continue, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), which forecasted more downpours in the port city beginning tomorrow (Tuesday).
However, today’s rains will only be moderate to light, according to Sarfaraz.
The PMD released a statement in which it stated, “The low pressure area over the North Arabian Sea has become less marked with another low pressure area likely to approach and affect Sindh from tomorrow to August 18th.”
According to the Met Office, these weather systems will likely cause rain-thunderstorms today and tomorrow in Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Ghotki, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Dadu, and other regions of the province.
Until August 19, Balochistan will continue to experience heavy rain, which could cause flash flooding in the districts of Dadu, Jamshoro, and Kambar Shahdadkot.
