IHC grants pre-arrest bail to Imran Khan till October 07

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Sunday granted pre-arrest bail to Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in a contempt of court case involving remarks about a female judge until October 7.

The case was heard by a bench led by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, according to details.

Imran Khan was granted pre-arrest bail by IHC Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani until October 7 in exchange for Rs10,000 surety bonds.

Earlier today, the former prime minister’s lawyer, Dr Babar Awan, filed a pre-arrest bail plea and a cancellation of his arrest warrant in Islamabad High Court.

Despite the fact that it was a public holiday, the Islamabad High Court opened on Sunday, and the staff of the High Court Diary Branch was present.
