The Miss Universe 2022 pageant will be available for live streaming via the Voot app, as well as other platforms such as Thai News Network JKN18’s (@JKN18) YouTube channel.
The TV channel is owned by the JKN Global Group, whose CEO, transgender rights activist Anne Jakapong Jakrajutatip, purchased the Miss Universe Organization in 2022.
Furthermore, India’s Harnaaz Sandhu, the reigning queen, will crown the new Miss Universe 2022 pageant winner at the grand event, which will include several rounds.
It is worth noting that the Miss Universe 2022 pageant was originally scheduled for December 2022, but was moved to avoid clashing with the FIFA World Cup.
The grand event of the pageant will include several rounds, including Miss Universe 2022 contestants walking the runway in swimwear, evening gowns, and costumes honoring their countries.
Miss Universe 2022 is Divita Rai, an architect and model from Karnataka, and if she wins, India will have two consecutive victories at one of the world’s largest beauty pageants.
As previously stated, the previous title holder is India’s Harnaaz Sandhu, who was crowned Miss Universe in 2021.
To date, only three Indians have been crowned Miss Universe: Harnaaz Sandhu, Sushmita Sen, and Lara Dutta.
