(Infosette News) KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan dropped by Rs3,400 a tola on Thursday in Pakistan, as the precious yellow metal’s value continued to fall.
The local market’s per-tola gold price decreased by Rs3400 to close at Rs144,900, according to the All Pakistan Jewellers Manufacturers Association (APJMA).
Likewise, the cost of 10 grammes of gold fell by Rs2,915 to Rs124,228.
In the interbank market, the rupee increased by 2 to extend its gains against the dollar.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the local currency closed at Rs221.94 for every USD (SBP).
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) also gained 585 points on Thursday, reaching a high of 42,196 points.
