In comparison to the previous trading day, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs 5,000 on Friday, selling for Rs 186,100.
The cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold jumped to Rs146,255 from Rs142,325, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, while the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs4,287 to Rs159,551 from Rs155,264.
Silver sold for Rs. 2100 per tola, up Rs. 30; silver sold for Rs. 1800 for ten grams, up Rs. 25.72; and so on.
According to the association, the price of gold on the world market rose by $23 to $1900.
