FIFA World Cup 2022 will kick off from November 21 in Qatar. 32 international teams are competing in eight groups in the event sometimes called the biggest sports event in the world after Olympics. England will face Iran on the opening day of the tournament.
The FIFA World Cup 2022 will begin on November 21 in Qatar. In the event, 32 international teams compete in eight groups in what is sometimes referred to as the world’s largest sporting event after the Olympics. On the first day of the tournament, England will face Iran.
Qatar, the smallest country to host soccer’s global showpiece tournament, expects an estimated 1.2 million visitors during the World Cup.
Due to limited accommodation in Qatar, thousands of fans are expected to stay in neighbouring countries such as tourism hub the United Arab Emirates and fly in to Doha for matches.
