Techno is becoming ever more popular with fans of affordable but capable phones. Recent attempts by the manufacturer have all resulted in gear that performs far above its price range.
The most recent product in this lineup is the Tecno Camon 19 We selected the Sea Salt White, which has an attractive shimmering appearance in any light. There is also a Digital Green model that is much more attractive.
An 18W charger, USB cable, and a case are included with the purchase of the Tecno Camon 19. (which is on the phone in the image below).
The Tecno Camon 19 has respectable specs, but it goes without saying that at this price point, you shouldn’t anticipate any miracles.
It boasts a 6.8-inch 1080p IPS LCD screen. It has a nice appearance, but its normal refresh rate leaves something to be desired (the Tecno Camon 19 Pro has the same panel, only 120Hz).
The battery has a sizable 5,000mAh capacity. You receive 128GB of inbuilt storage with every model you choose. The 64MP 1/1.7″ f/1.7 main camera should perform admirably in all lighting conditions.
The MediaTek Helio G85 chipset has six Cortex-A55 cores with a maximum speed of 1.8GHz and two Cortex-A75 cores operating at 2.0GHz. RAM comes in either 4GB or 6GB sizes.
Any Tecno smartphone has an availability problem. These phones are difficult to locate outside of emerging markets.
