The court issues a written order suspending Ishaq Dar warrants. On Saturday, the Accountability Court (AC) issued a written order suspending the arrest warrants against former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
According to the judgment, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) did not object to the plea brought by the former finance minister.
According to the application, Ishaq Dar was unable to attend in court due to illness and the suspension of his passport.
It went on to say that the arrest warrants were issued to secure the accused’s attendance at trial. If he wished to surrender, the judge said he needed only one chance to appear.
The court stated that Ishaq Dar has till October 7 to surrender before it after returning to his own country. The arrest warrants against him would be delayed until then.
The judge ordered the authorities not to arrest Ishaq Dar and instructed him to surrender voluntarily.
