Brahmastra: Deepika Padukone will make her acting debut as Pravati in the Ranbir Kapur-Ali Bhatt sequel.


Brahmastra Deepika Padukone may appear in the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt Starrer, as per rumours. According to reports, the producers have cast Deepkia as the role of Pravati.

This year’s Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, will premiere in theatres on September 9. The movie, directed by Ayan Mukerji, also stars Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, and Amitabh Bachchan in significant roles.


Deepika Padukone will, however, appear in the film, if rumours are to be believed. She will also play the lead in Brahmastra 2.

According to reports, Ayan revealed that the movie’s second act would introduce a new character named “Dev” and that Deepika had been cast as the role of Parvati.


As stated by Pinkvilla, “Deepika Padukone has been cast by the filmmakers as the role of Parvati. In fact, Brahmastra will feature a cameo from Deepika toward the end, which will usher in the second half of the movie.”

The magnum opus, which was produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures, will have a theatrical release on September 9, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
