Maheep Kapoor reveals to Bollywood Wives season 2 that her husband Sanjay Kapoor once cheated on her.
In the latest season of Bollywood wives season 2, Maheep Kapoor revealed that her husband, actor Sanjay Kapoor cheated on her in the early days of their marriage. When she talked about the incident, she spoke to Seema Sajdeh about him on the show. Maheep and Sanjay have been married for 25 years. They have a daughter named Shanaya and a son named Jahaan.
“Now you understand, Seema.” Initially, there was an indiscretion on Sanjay’s part or whatever. I exited with Shanaya. I stood up for myself, but I had a newborn baby at the time. Again, as a woman and a mother, my child comes first. I owed my daughter this wonderful father, who he is. It was something I owed myself. And if I had broken this s**t up, I would have regretted it for the rest of my life. Because when my kids and hubby step into my house, this is their sanctuary. They require tranquillity. And I believe Sanjay delivers it to me as well,” Maheep remarked.
“I wanted my marriage to work,” she confessed to a camera. At any cost. And I did it selfishly for myself and my child. It was not a compromise at all. It was for me.”
In another interview, Maheep stated that they have both forgiven each other for various things in their life. “Forgiveness? We’ve both forgiven each other at various points in our lives. I was a royal f**king b**ch. He’d wanted to stab me several times. We’ve matured and become stronger as a result of this trip “She stated.
In a recent interview with India Today, Maheep stated that Sanjay and her family are unaware that she has spoken about the cheating episode on the show and will find out when it is released on Netflix on Friday.
