KARACHI: The Sindh home department has issued a ban on pillion riding on the 11 and 12 Rabi Ul Awal, on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), which falls on October 9,
It will be prohibited in Sindh on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) on October 8 and 9. The ban was announced by the home department in various districts of Sindh, as well as in the provincial capital of Karachi.
Pillion riding will be prohibited in four Karachi districts: Central, West, East, and South. Pillion riding will be prohibited in the central district on the 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, in the west district on the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, in the east district on the 8th, 11th, and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, and in the south district on the 8th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
It will be prohibited in Hyderabad on the 8th and 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, in Sukkur on the 11th and 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, in Khairpur on the 8 and 12 of Rabi-ul-Awwal, and in Ghotki, Sanghar, Larkana, Rato Dero, Bakrani, Dokri, Nawabshah, Jacobabad, Thal, Garhi Khairo, Kand
The ban does not apply to law enforcement officers and personnel, the elderly, journalists, women, and children.
