Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana, the children of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, could be crowned prince and princess soon, according to a royal author, who claims that King Charles III wants to “heal” the royal family’s connection with his son.

Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II last month, which crowned Prince Harry’s father, Charles, the new King, royal expert and author Katie Nicholl made a statement on the topic of royal titles on the Palace Confidential podcast.

Due to the Sussexes’ disagreement with the royal family, Nicholl thinks King Charles may use the titles to encourage a reunion.

This meant that Prince Harry and Meghan’s children would automatically become prince and princess as the monarch’s grandchildren.

Nicholl stated, “We don’t know what’s going to happen with the Duke of Edinburgh title, and we don’t know if he’s going to give it to Archie and Lilibet.

If he did, it would be the most extraordinary act of reconciliation and an olive branch, but she continued: “I think if that happens, it’s going to come with a caveat, and he’s going to insist that Harry and Meghan are respectful of the institution, if indeed they’re taking the titles of the institution.”

Given that Prince Harry and King Charles stayed out of the public eye throughout the UK’s period of national mourning for the Queen, Nicholl made one more point about the subject.

It will be interesting to see what the King does and whether he uses that as a last-ditch effort to broker a reconciliation with Harry and Meghan.

I believe that a lot of it comes down to an issue of trust, and there is a strong sense that the marriage has broken the tie of trust, she added.
